REASSURANCE

Each day we face trials, tribulations, and triumphs, and they're always new. Sure, we may have dealt with similar situations in the past, but not under the exact same circumstances. As we make our way through life every waking moment is new. So soak up this reassurance:

We're all living on this big beautiful earth, all experiencing life together,

and all a little bit confused as to how to go about it all.

Imagine life as a sailboat crossing the ocean, and we're all on it getting splashed along the way. There are periods of smooth sailing, but sometimes the sea is rough. The waves can create splashes so big that we get soaked to the bone, other days the splashes are small and indistinct. If we're lucky, we get the chance to dry off, but sometimes it feels like a continuous storm. We help one another out when drying off feels like an impossible task, but sometimes getting splashed feels like exactly what we needed. Over time we learn how to stay dry, but in the end we can't control the waves, just our perception of the journey.

Remember, solutions to situations are never set in stone. Our individual circumstances change, and all that's expected of us is to try. Try to understand the situation, try to find a solution, try to find peace throughout the process. We're all sailing across this great big sea attempting to figure it out, might as well enjoy the ride.
