Last Thursday Em and I packed up the car and headed to Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park. Ever since it got warm out I've been pestering her to come camping with me, and it finally paid off!

With it being a Provincial Park, they had real swanky outhouses and running potable water, but the campsites were super groomed and close together. A nice spot, but definitely more maintained which made it lose the outdoorsy charm- we definitely weren't roughin' it that weekend.

Our days were spent lounging at the beach, walking along trails, and playing target practice with rocks (I forgot to bring cards, oops). With no cell service we were free to unwind, lazing about on the hammock without any interruptions was the best.

On our way home we made a pit stop, and hiked up to Lindeman Lake. We watched pups swimming in the glacier fed water, ate some snacks, and soaked up the last of our lil trip. The rocky uphill climb to the lake took us about an hour, but the view made it worthwhile.

At the beginning of 2018 I made a list of goals, with one of them being to travel more. I planted a seed in my mind that I would travel (to wherever it may be), and as that seed grew roots I consciously, and subconsciously, made choices (and continue to make choices) that would lead me to travel and accomplish that goal. I was open to, and invited new experiences into my life, and created a reality that aligned with what I really wanted to be doing. The mind is a very powerful tool, you can attract whatever you desire, and quite literally create your own reality if you put your mind to it.
