HELLO, OCTOBER

Happy October!

This month is exciting, Fall is officially here which means wearing cozy clothes, stepping on crunchy leaves, lighting candles, and consuming anything pumpkin flavoured. It also marks a new beginning, the start of each month is the perfect time to be clear with your goals - what do you want to work towards and accomplish in the next 30 days?

Fall Festivities ✨

Here's a list of Fall festivities for the month of October, I know that the change in weather can get you down (prancing around in your bathing suit is no more), but if you've got some solid ideas you'll always feel like something fun and memorable is on the horizon.

• head to the pumpkin patch, be prepared to get realllll muddy

• pick up a 6-pack of pumpkin flavoured beer and spend the night carving

• have a Halloween movie night (Hocus Pocus is on my list) or hit up the drive-in movie theatre

• grab a hot drink and go for a walk, don't forget to stop and smell the... leaves?

• if the weather's crappy head indoors for a game of pool or bowling

• go for a hike, bundle up and take in the beautiful scenery

• light some candles, put on your favourite tunes, and bake some treats

List Your Goals ✨

Now, time to be honest with yourself, what have you been slacking on? What were some of your September goals that never came to fruition? Are those goals still important and relevant to you, or is it time to reassess and make some new goals that are more attainable?

It's important to reflect, look back and try to determine what quality you may have been lacking, now envision yourself attracting that quality in abundance. Whether it be self-love, determination, motivation, work-ethic, the list goes on, visualize yourself filled to the brim with whatever quality you wish to possess. With this newfound vision of yourself for the month of October, make your list of goals, and make sure they're SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound)!
