ALABAMA + ABORTION: WHAT CAN I DO?

People are furious, and rightly so. Many of you have probably heard about Bill HB314 in Alabama, more widely known as 'The Abortion Ban'. This bill strips away a persons right to govern their own body, denying them the ability to make a choice that is theirs to make.

ACLU Alabama → Supports legal rights and civil rights education in Alabama, and helps people defend themselves against threats to their constitutional liberties.

National Advocates for Pregnant Women → Works to protect the rights of the most vulnerable who are pregnant or parenting.

The Yellow Hammer Fund → Provides funding for those seeking an abortion at one of Alabama's three abortion clinics, and assists with barriers to access (i.e. travel/lodging costs).

National Network of Abortion Funds → Provides funding for those seeking an abortion and works towards changing the laws and culture which make getting an abortion difficult.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund → Fights for laws and policies that prioritize people's health and rights (i.e. reproductive rights).
